Default Rakim

I haven't listened to a great deal of this guy. Tell me if u know the album 'Waiting for the World to End' is on. It's 1 of the best rap songs ever, talking about how people from the ghetto hav a totally different perspective on life than most people. W/ little or no health care and quality of life, it's understandable a lot of them do resort to drugs and violence. And as Rakim says a lot of them wait around w/ that 'Waiting for the world to End' attitude, bcuz for some it would b a welcome change. Great touching song.
It's great to know there are still some rap artists out there who care more about more than just bling.

It's on an album called "The Master", which is Rakim's album from 1999. It's a fantastic album, so you really should get it. Like right now sorta thing.

too bad Rakim and Dre didnt work things out when Rakim was on Aftermath for a lil bit. the problem was creative differences. same thing with Ice Cube when he was on Aftermath for a lil bit also.
