sounds totally natural to me

I'd agree he doesn't have much to say. This happens to a lot of rappers, I don't know who brought this up first, but a lot of rappers just rap about rapping and get dull get.

I dunno. Maybe I just don't like his breathless style or his weak voice. Maybe Doom and Nas can see that he'll get better with age, he's only a teenager right? Still, he's nowhere near as good as Doom or Nas when they were kids.

Yeah he mostly struck my interest because of that bacon-eating concept for his first music video i posted; had some humorous flare

Then the doom record. I agree he sounds old-school, but i don't get put off by it like i did with joey badass and those guys

Yeah, I definitely don't mean to be hating. I guess I like rappers to sound either very tight or full of personality or both, and I don't really hear either one in Nehru but I'll give him time. He's got the production skills already so he'll stick to that and maybe get better on the mic.

I thought the album was really good, I liked that Nehru just slotted into MF Doom's theme and concept and it gave a nice little insight into Nehru's flow

Giving it a listen now. Classic doom production, literally. Not very memorable but also very listenable. Fair record.

Better than a lot of the stuff Doom has been putting out lately.
Never heard Nehru before. His rapping didn't blow me away, but it's competent and listenable enough. Some nice, groovy beats, too.

Well, I just played this for the first time. I like the Doom beats, rhymes, and sound samples. This Nehru guy I'm unsure about. At times his vocals were just fine, other times they made me cringe a little. Sounded a bit less than smooth, less than professional. We'll see how it plays out.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

I'm not a big fan of the album. Nehru wrecks it.
