What about Damian Marley? (lyrics, rock, cd, albums, tracks)

His new cd, Welcome to Jamrock has been out for awhile now. Personally i think the cd is amazing and I can listen to it from beginning to end. Love his lyrics and the way he conveys them.

What do y'all think?

I like Damian's sound.
And I love the songwriting.
it's a tad gritty and edgy, just the way i like it.

I find I can only really enjoy a few songs from each of his albums, the rest tends to be fairly average. "Welcome To Jamrock", "The Master Has Come Back" and "Road To Zion" are probably the only three tracks that stand out on this album. That being said those three songs are excellent.

"Road to Zion" is my fav...and i have to agree. He's playing in my town with Ben Harper in a couple of weeks...I can't wait!

yeah, i agree with that. I don't know why but Move is one of my fav. I guess cuz there's a lil bit of exodus in it..I like that
