Default Guitar: Favourite Riff/Favourite Solo

Ok so another favourites thread, yippy ****ing kye yai yay.

Give me your all time guitar favourites:

1. Favourite riff in a song e.g Led Zep - Whole Lotta Love

and

2. Favourite solo in a song e.g Guns N Roses - Sweet Child

Obviously your tastes change so if you post once you can easily come back and make an advancement. I will let you away with that.

Mine right now:

1. Alice in Chains - We Die Young
2. Pearl Jam - Alive

Achilies last stand by zeppelin, that song is insane, and has so many tight riffs, and quite possibly the thightest solo ever. Ok maby not but it is still a really tight solo.

favourite riff in a song, you're worst mistake by strung out, the opening riff, once i hear it its always stuck in my head. and for fav solo, probably the bass solo on maxwell murder by rancid, freeman owns.

Riff - Heartbreaker.

Solo - Anything by David Gilmour or Steve Howe.

Hendrix, Page and EVH are also some of my favorite riff makers and soloists.
