Prog metal absolutely sucks. It is only for hipsters. Has any prog metal band recorded a masterpiece like this?

I don't know just how proggy they actually got, and I haven't listened to them all that much, but Psychotic Waltz are pretty savage.

A lotta good **** but I'd just like to single out Watchtower for a hell yeah. Once I got used to the vocals those riffs were too savage to deny.




And Anacrusis' Screams and Whispers was one of the best prog thrash records ever.
