Question Help with my music genre

Hi, i'm 17 and all my life music has always been with me, i never really cared about the genre of music that i listened to but im feeling curious. I know that i listen to mostly rock and metal but i'd like to know more specifically my music genre so ineed some help identifying it.

Here are some of my favorite bands, the ones i listen to mostly

Asking Alexandria
Rise Agaisnt
Breaking Benjamin
Three Days Grace
Hatebreed
Thousand Foot Krutch
Demon Hunter
A day to remember
Red
Korn
Mudvayne
Slipknot
Bullet for my Valentine
Ill Niño
Upon a burning body

No. Only one band is considered deathcore. There is only one band in your list that doesn't utilize any metal tendencies in my opinion.

Well idk what do you mean by better metal honestly, this is what the type of music that i like, listening to some of these bands since i was 6 or 7... :P
If u have any recommendation i'll gladly take it though, thanks again for the help.
