Default Who is your favorite Beatle?

Did not see a thread for this, used the search feature and came up with nothing. If there is a thread for it already I apologize.

John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Star. Four of the most infamous musicians in rock history, and the four members of The Beatles.

Which one is your personal favorite? Also, which one do you think contributed mostly to the band? Which one was the best musician, and which one was the best song writer?

I was gonna dd a poll, but I would rather not since I am asking not just one question, but a few, and I would much rather see people explain their answers than just clicking a box and hitting submit.

Infamous?

Minus the in.

They're the most famous people in rock history.

My favourite is probably Paul, no idea why. I've just always had a thing for him.

Paul is an irritating nob. Too many thumbs ups and peace signs for my liking.
Shit taste in women too. Too cocky by half.
Much prefer John Lennon any day of the week over Paul.
Got a soft spot for Harrison also.

I dislike George the least.

Myself, from an objective standpoint I would probably say that John was the most important, but from a personal standpoint, Harrison is my favorite. He did not produce the quantity of songs that Lennon/McCartney did, but he sure as hell matched them, if not surpassed them, when it came to quality. My two absolute favorite Beatles songs, Here Comes the Sun, and While my Guitar Gently Weeps, were written by him, along with quite a few other amazing works.

I wouldn't dare challenge any of the Beatles musicianship.
So I'll just say that musically, George Harrison is my favourite.

Ringo Starr.
He's just so lovably awkward and kind.

John, really brought an experimental edge to the Beatles in the latter stages of their career, and his prolific songwriting always had a quality about it. Paul is a great pop songwriter, one of the best, whilst George was a very talented guy in his own right, but John is head and shoulders for me.

Plus he was a hugely important figure in the Vietnam war, i have a lot of respect for somebody who stands up for what they believe in to the extent that he did.
