Yeah, free anti virus is a lot better. For a start the well known giants like Norton etc are a huge system hog and offer nothing special...

The best anti-virus etc software are the free ones.

Even if you did all that, it wouldn't cost the same.

Well you don't have to custom build a PC, you can still get a better one at way less than a Mac. I just prefer to custom mine so that I have what I want not what someone else says I should have.
