I think Bob Seger's version was actually better. Metallica's version is just another rock song. Seger's version sounds more dramatic and genuine.

Foo Fighters did a version of Gerry Rafferty's "Baker Street". That song is just too smooth and the Foofies turned it into something rocking like they always do.
