I remember when Platoon and Full Metal Jacket both came out, Platoon was seen as the film that went for the jugular, whereas Full Metal Jacket the film that provided the grit. Both are classics...

The film wasn`t that popular when it came out but it was kind of original, I mean if it came out today it would pass unnoticed. BTW the teacher was played by Roddy McDowell.

Ed Wood its a classic and if you like that get the actual Ed Wood box set (its pretty cheap) Probably the worst director ever and his films are so bad..........that they are actually great to watch.
