System of a Down and the Deftones are in a different league to the other bands you've listed. Some time ago on here, I said System of a Down weren't Nu-metal but simply alternative metal as well.

There is nothing really alt about any of those two songs, both are really bad and perfect examples of the type of generic sounding hard rock/metal that you can easily find on any music channel....

Yep and those are another two terrible bands especially Staind, I thought they were just nu-metal and post-grunge!!! I guess we`ll have to add alternative metal as another genre they can`t do.
