Thanks, I'll check it out. I guess he wasn't a terribly prolific author. I can't think of any other respected artist who did so many covers. Great voice, but maybe not so creative?

Wow....that's almost sacrilegious. Grace is such a fantastic album, and he's such a diverse and talented artist...I mean just his vocals are enough to sell anything really.

i think i read it somewhere that it was 7 octaves...the album is quite eclectic, almost prog rock at certain points...some reviewer on amazon said it was too depressing to listen...i can't say i see...

well i finally got arround to checking him out, downloaded grace, pretty ****ing good if i may say so myself....reminds me of antony and the johnsons ( voice ) ..on some songs anyway....
