I dig me some Zeppelin tunes, but they were way too self-indulgent with their boring folk experiments, and it made their albums pretty hit-or-miss.

Haven't listened to anything past their first two albums, but I'd rock them before anything Blur ever did. The latter might be a more creative band, but Oasis released two of the greatest power pop...

Because they rule at it. It's why I'd rather listen to an entire Oasis album than a Blur album. I love a lot of Blur's songs, but their actual albums don't have as much energy.

I find it hilarious that so many people hold Oasis to such a high standard when it comes to originality. If these people are so bothered by a band they think is derivative, then shouldn't they also...
