What will be left
When we've had our last breaths
And the wind has wiped away our wearied footprints

When the dirt which we sat on
And cried on and laughed on
When the dirt on which we dreamed has slowly scattered?

And each night I pray
That I'll remember your face
Your smile, the way you danced in the spotlight.

All that is left
Is a passionate breath
of hope, that I'll see those eyes again.

So here's a toast to those summer nights, and the girl that made me feel so alive.
