Where no one can find
Or destroy you

Ascend to the sky
When you come crashing down
Give it another try

Be forewarned, though
Damnation awaits
Your temptation grows

You’ll crawl for more
Your knees will chafe,
Scar, and score

The seduction will twist
And make you a mockery
Others will see a hypocrisy

Your physique will decay
Ash will be your innards
Blood turned to char
As your skin reanimates to
Reflect the corruption

In this nightmare, ignorance is your ally
Apathy, your friend
Death, your lord and savior

This is the punishment
For your self-indulgence.
