Losing Lance Stephenson is gonna be a huge hit to the Pacers.

It made no sense either, the Pacers offered him a huge 5-year deal and he took a 3-year deal with another team instead so he could make $100 K more. He's not right in the head.

It's easy to judge.

He probably thinks it will be a better situation or something...

A better situation? The pacers were the top seed in the east last year. They actually improved the bench a little this offseason, and they maybe could have given the redesigned Cavaliers a run for the ECF if Stephenson came back. I just don't see the logic.

Neither do I, but why else would he go? He sees something.

Maybe he doesn't like a teammate or coach or something, who knows.

It's his rivalry with LeBron. It got too personal this year, and he doesn't want to be in the same division as him. lol

He doesn't seem like the kind of guy to stray away from a challenge or attention.

He probably wants to go somewhere he can be "the man". The star, etc.

He signed with Charlotte though, and Al Jefferson and Kemba Walker are running the show there. The more I think about why he left, the more the saying when you've eliminated the impossible, whatever remains must be the truth comes to mind.

Stephenson must not have liked the Pacers, that's pretty much what it has to be at this point. No other explanation makes any sense. Nobody really knows what caused the Pacer's collapse after the All-Star break, but I've always theorized it was some locker room turmoil, and just the inexperience of the team.
Both of those things may not be as big a problem at Charlotte. Al Jefferson is a 10 year-veteran, and the core of the Hornets team as a whole is still really young. It's great for the Hornets defense. They've suddenly become a considerably better team with him there. He's a great ball handler, and an outstanding rebounder.

It's a truly crippling blow for the Pacers though. No one in the league can provide what he did for them, he led the league in tripple-doubles last year.

No way! There's a deeper mystery for his motives, and I will find it! lol.

Pacers are doomed though.
