Gear Setup ***Help Thread***

I would like to open this thread so that anyone who has any questions about any of the gear they own can get help. Whether it is software, hardware, instruments, microphones, DAW, home stereo, etc feel free to ask about any problems that have arisen stopping you from achieving your end goal. I will try my best to answer them or at the very least direct you to an answer that we can both find together. Got a guitar rig that sounds killer but has a nasty hum you cant get rid of? Lets find out why. Your dads birthday is coming up and you are putting together a killer stereo system for him but dont know what plugs in where or the best place to put everything? Ask away. Have a recording setup at home but your mic isn't picking up signal? COME ON!
