Mmmm... It's hard to think of some good examples where jazz and modern music go hand in hand. There's some modern dub that really works, but jazz... Not sure.
I would say St. Germain is a Mixture of Acid Jazz and Dance. And we've already had the 'is acid jazz jazz?' discussion. My answer was no for exactly the same reason I don't really like saint germain. It's enjoyable, it sounds nice, it's dancy elevator music. But I don't put it on myself. Altough I have both tourist and that other album .
Can't evne remember the name.
