Though I will admit the bassist is usually on point, and "A Better Place, A Better Time" is a good song. I love when people call what they do even remotely 'punk' - this spits in nobody's face, changes virtually no opinions whatsoever, and has never once made me think about anything. EVER.

They're better than bands like Reel Big Fish, though.
The drummer is definitely talented, as well as the bassist. I have zero time for ska-punk music, and haven't since I was in my early teens... however, I've seen Streetlight Manifesto live and I think they are pretty talented musicians. By far the best I've heard in this genre. I can categorically say I'll never listen to them again in my life, but when their first album came out I was a fan. The guitars do indeed sound pretty dreadful though.
