I completely agree. His music is as mindless as Tiesto's and Armin van Buuren's. Back in the day it seemed everyone was doing their own thing, but now it's like everyone is barely recognizable. They're making, like, Pseudoelectrohousetrance. It just sounds so obviously commercial that I hate it. Luckily there's a lot of more underground musicians who are staying true to their roots. But then again some people, like Ferry Corsten, haven't changed much at all. His sound is a bit more refined, but still similar to what he's been involved with for awhile. I do find solace in older tracks though. I'm not sure if you're a fan of Progressive stuff, but if you are, you need to get as many of Tiesto's In Search of Sunrise albums as you possibly can. That is if you don't have them already.
