* Another one of my favourite indie bands: Los Punsetes. I admit they're a little crazy (well, maybe totally crazy), but I love them anyway. A perfect example of how to combine dreamy and evocative music with surrealistic and humorous lyrics. This is Maricas ("Gays"):

♫ "Quiero morir en una discoteca llena de maricas.............I wanna die at a disco full of gays.
Quiero morir bebiendo vino a morro de una barrica................I wanna die while drinking wine straight out of a cask.

Quiero una muerte tonta de esas que nadie se explica..............I wanna have one of those stupid and incomprehensible deaths.

Quiero morir con los brazos abiertos de cuerpo presente.............I wanna die with open arms and lying in repose.
Quiero morir en una conferencia frente a un ponente.............I wanna die during a lecture in front of the speaker.
Quiero cantar canciones guarras en brazos de la muerte.............I wanna sing dirty songs while being in Death's arms.

Se supone que la vida no es tan estridente.........Life is not supposed to be that shrill.
Mamá está equivocada y los libros mienten..........Mum is wrong and books lie.
