Exactly. Most members don't see anything that offenders do wrong, because the mods are all over it and it's gone and dealt with before the vast majority can see it. Then when the offender finally pushes it too far and they get banned, it's because the mods overeacted.

I can't even believe we are still discussing this. Not even Captain Caveman got as many chances from the mods here as Boo did to just stop offending people and pissing people off.
