True to an extent... I have to say though, I think The Sonics were fantastic at what they did. As songwriters, fair enough - they did do a lot of covers. But I enjoy the songs they did write, and I think their sound has a really great edge and great vibe to it. Really fun, and soulful as well. But to each their own.
