I'm not usually a jazz listener but I know some people who are serious smooth jazz fans. Personally, I never thought music like Culbertson, Benoit, Rippingtons, etc, should be classified as jazz. I think it's a totally different genre of it's own. When I think of jazz, I think of Dave Brubeck type stuff which I really like.
