The soldier dating thing isn't that mind boggling to me. It's the same way that some women write to prisoners and start dating them while they are on the inside. Online dating isn't all that bad anyways if the two can get over the whole long distance factor. I have had a few in my past. They have turned out horribly wrong though. Mostly from the girl cheating on me but I just have bad taste in women and pick the wrong girls to be in relationships with.

Well maybe online relationships can work for some people. I'd personally never date anybody that I had never met. There's too many extra factors and I wouldnt wanna date someone I hardly ever saw.
I wouldn't laugh for a second if I thought this was true, but I don't believ eit is for a second. Ok, that girl I was talking about with the solider boyfriend she met 2 weeks ago online... So like last night she asked him on skype to be her boyfriend and I guess he said ok. She updated her relationship status to "in a relationship" and posted a bunch of statuses about him and stuff. Then today, his friend gets on his skype and tells her they were ambushed and he died. I think he realized how weird and immature this girl is and just didn't want to talk to her anymore, but she's been crying around all day apparently. Too coincidental in my opinion. I guess she wants to try to call his mom, which I am supporting because I think his mom would be like "WTF i just got off the phone with him" and that'd be funny.
