My friend and I did some research for a project once, which was based solely around facebook, so a good bit of the content which was set in the movie, we already knew. It's just one of those classic stories deceit that was done particularly well in this movie.

Secondly the acting was absolutely fantastic. Jesse Eisenberg is a terrific actor in my opinion, with multiple notches above his comparable counter part Michael Cera. I love smart, witty dialogue as well, and he certainly pulled off the douchey intellect role flawlessly. The music throughout the film was on point as well. Social Network's most definitely in my top 3 films of last year.
I agree with you on the music aspect but I didn't pay too much attention to Jesse's acting. He seems to play that same sort of role in all of his movies, just like the aptly named Michael Cera.

I really didn't like it because I went into it expecting one thing and got something completely different and it was just meh. So-so.
