Interesting. I never thought of his films as good natured. I thought his cynicism was his greatest strength.
Naked is one of my favorite films ever. I haven't kept good track of Leigh's work but I should.
I most recently watched 'Broken Flowers' by Jim Jarmusch. Twice.
