System of a Down always seemed really competent at picking opening acts. Then and Tool, for some reason.

...The concept of The Steve Miller Band being more popular than Miles Davis at a point in time depresses me.

Not too surprised. Mick Jagger lost his edge somewhere around 1968, and in a lot ways, in their twilight, The Rolling Stones were not as guilty of the crime of churning out heartless commercial crap as Nickelback, but they were pretty bad. Anything for the crack money and groupies, though, and sadly enough Nickelback probably has to beat them down with a stick. Not shocked the Stones would be the creepy old farts stalking around scraping whatever the guys in Nickelback can't. (Same with Timberlake.)

Terence Hill, as recently confirmed during an interview to an Italian TV talk-show, was offered the role but rejected it because he considered it "too violent". Dustin Hoffman and John Travolta declined the role for the same reason. When Al Pacino was considered for the role of John Rambo, he turned it down when his request that Rambo be more of a madman was rejected.
Al Pacino = God
