"unnecessary" is another one where I sometimes spell it "uneccessary" or "unneccesary".
I also find the need to recite the "I before E except after C" rule more often than I'd like to admit.

Heh, I used to spell "originally" as "origionally" for the longest time, until around 2005, when I arbitrarily decided to use spell-check. Boy, was I embarrassed. The sad thing is no one ever corrected me. I wish they had.
I'm guilty of "recommend" as well.

The originally thing reminds me of when I used to work in a bakery. We had to write on cakes and one of my co-workers wrote "Congradulations" on one, and the person he was writing it for corrected him. He told me that he'd always spelled it that way, and had written it on other cakes before too. I guess everyone else was just too embarassed to correct him.
