Three Musical Gems I Found This Past Week
The Polish Ambassador
Producer from California, makes electro music. Kind of genre-less as far as the electronic scene goes. He just released a new CD this year and I haven't really been able to stop listening to it. Very creative while giving you a smooth dance-friendly beat.
Monsta Island Czars
M.I.C. is a group out of NYC featuring MF DOOM, MF Grimm, and a handful other other talented rappers. I've only got my hands on Escape From Monsta Island (2003) and so far I've been impressed. The sound is quite dark, most of the album was produced by MF DOOM. Tantalizing lyrics plus eerie beats makes for some great rap.

British producer, not many people think all that much about him because of his similarities to other groups/producers such as MSTRKRFT, Russ Chimes, and others with that rock influenced electro-dance. He's been refreshing for me since it's given me something to listen to that isn't more Justice, MSTRKRFT, Russ Chimes, Boys Noize, ect.
