I dont know what people expected really, I've watched the highlights show that was on this evening about the wedding and I thought it was all very tasteful in fairness. The entire thing seemed more about the bride than the fact that it was a Royal wedding, which it should be and is probably what people refer to by a low key affair. I still expect alot of lavishness though, and a nod to the proud heritage of this country, and the elegant stagecoaches and flyovers respectively achieved both of these things.
As for the couple themselves, I wish them all the best. William and Harry both seem like genuinely nice people, very down to earth (as down to earth as you can be given their lives) and are easily the most relatable members of the Royal family.
