No, I'm not saying get rid of welfare, they just need to re-structure it so people aren't so dependant on it. Instead of sending them to that ****ty ass WEP program job that only pays 1 dollar a day. I'm sure you'd love to work for 1 DOLLAR A DAY!!!
They need to work on introducing transitional jobs and push for more training. it's a bit similar but with the transitional job they will actually get hired and be able to provide for themselves and be able to get off of welfare all together.
Welfare is a good program as far as for people needed it temporarily and for emergency situations but the rest of it is set up to keep people on the system because for Employers it's big business and THEY are the ones making so much money off of temp. hiring TANF workers. They get grant money and tax breaks for doing this.
