Both NIN and Johnny's version's of the song are brilliant. Johnny's is more calm and collected and speaks more to life experiences, while NIN is more edgy and angry and reflective. Both convey different emotions and different tones. Both are excellent in their own way.

Anyways, Johnny is one of my favorite artists. I especially enjoy the Sun records days, and then the American days. Both are good to me. Everything in between is good but mixed quality for me.
