I don't want a dog. I love them, but I don't like the barking, I don't like walking them especially because you have to talk to other people as you dog wants to go to their dog. Blegh. But I like the creatures themselves. I don't mind the size, a small one is practical as you can pick it up as it doesn't want to walk or if anything happens to it.
I once had to carry a 45 kilogram Golden Retreiver. No thanks  .

I know you obviously can be rough with little dogs but they can't take as much of it, I used to have a jack russell under my roof before my sister moved out. I could easily push my dog 15ft across my house using my hands/feet and she'll come back at me like a bat out of hell, wanting pushed again. Small dogs get hurt in games like that.
