The F.A. should shoulder some of the responsibility here.
I find it ridiculous that they don't independently screen transfers between member clubs affiliated to them.
If that was the case then they'd be able to give a simple yes, or no and that would be the end of the matter.
West Ham had to go through something very similar. You'd think they'd have learnt something following that fiasco!!!
