so it's done.

i went with the suggested opening spiel of "i usually listen to blah blah blah..." then i gave him my ipod and told him he can just play dj. he did. i pre-loaded it with more of the songs i think he would like. he ended up liking Stereophonics and Remy Zero.

on our way back to the office, he decided to drop by a record store and he bought all Stereophonics and Remy Zero cds he could find.

i had some acoustic artists there too like Brett Dennen, Amos Lee, and a bunch more. He sort of picked ten artists and when we got back to the office, he asked me to track down the ten artists for some projects.

it went well. he is still talking with me, he has referred to some of the artists he found in my ipod several times in our project meeting and most important, i still have my job.
