Slash and Eric Clapton were the two that got me into playing guitar, I started playing acoustic guitar in 1995/6 ish. Then in 1999 I got an electric and thats when Slash comes into it. I loved his style and his technique. About a year or 2 later I discovered Billy Duffy from The Cult.
I can't remember when I started playing Metal but my 2 main influences there are Jon Schaffer of Iced Earth and Elias Viljanen of Sonata Arctica.
