They are 17 and 12 respectively and they need their own space desperately but having no job means they have to continue sharing so by going away it seems like I am ignoring these problems.

Why should I have fun for a few days whilst all this is going on? I see both arguments but this is ultimately a crossroads for many other problems that have been bubbling under over the past couple of years.

It is basically **** or bust and all down to me to decide what way to take it.
