Blind Mr. Jones - Stereo Musicale (1992)
A shoegaze band with a flute? Yes and it works remarkably well. It's far from a novelty though as the band have some brilliant songs and some incredible walls of guitar. A very underrated band, they don't sound too far off Ride in places especially vocal-wise.

Lilys - In The Presence Of Nothing (1992)
A band I've been meaning to get into for some time now and I've finally got around to them. Although their sound on this album is heavily influenced by My Bloody Valentine they've thrown in no shortage of original twists and turns. Brilliant stuff.

Lilys - Eccsame The Photon Band (1994)
This album has a significantly different sound to In The Presence Of Nothing. Not quite as shoegazy but more direct indie and dreampop-orientated. This is definitely the better album in my opinion as the sound is more engaging, it offers more variety and it's more experimental in places. Fantastic, now to get the rest of their discography...
