is mainstream rubbish played on the radio. How to write a Mumford and Sons song? Take some uninspired lyrics (Love that will not betray you, dismay or enslave you, It will set you free), play them over some awful nano riffs designed to sound folky and appeal to the most undiscerning majority and top it off with some appallingly bad, faux emotional singing (I really ****ed it up this time, didn't I my deeeeear).
