That does happen quite frequently. I will say that I think it has less to do with being a mod, and more to do with being an experienced poster in a forum setting. Those two just coincidentally go hand-in-hand most of the time.

When you've been around these forums long enough, some people just learn to let people insult themselves, and in turn, let them dig their own grave. The art of subtle provocation.
