Both those albums follow the same pattern. "Caress of Steel" 3 shorter songs at the beginning, before moving into 2 longer pieces of 12 and 20 mins each. The idea is changed around for "2112" the long 20 mins piece at the beginning before moving into 5 shorter songs.
