I'd known of this album for years, all because of the album artwork, which I think is fantastic. I went to Birmingham this spring, and saw the bullring myself, and when I remembered this album, I became very excited to listen to it, because I jump at trivial references to familiar locations like that.
It wasn't really what I thought. I felt like the music let the artwork down, but it makes perfect sense to me now how I heard about this album on a pop punk website. It's a juvenile album of pop punk and British yelping. I found it best through the middle three tracks (rather enjoyable) and ultimately, while it's good for what it is, it succeeds in a genre I'd long ago grown away from.
