I've never heard of Fred Penner, but I have heard the song, "The Cat Came Back!"

I just looked it up on wikipedia. I was surprised to learn that the song was written in 1893, much longer ago than I expected. It doesn't go by its original title, for obvious reasons. The Cat Came Back - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
