I guess I'll go with decent. Musically I would describe it as a folky tinged cross between Vampire Weekend and The Beatles. I think I probably would have rated it higher if I felt some sort of connection emotionally with this album but it didn't really grab me on that level. I felt sometimes that it was trying too hard to be deliberately quirky but didn't really break any new ground on that front so it kind of didn't work for me on that level either. Overall perhaps a light musical snack? I'd say definitely worth a listen despite my lack of enthusiasm. If I were in a different head space I would have enjoyed it more and I intend to give it a few more plays.
