Well... that was something different. Definitely not Trainspotting 2 but it had its own charm to it. Very much true to Welsh's vernacular than Trainspotting but it's a messy film. It perfectly encapsulates the book but I should imagine it would be best seen whilst on the same drugs as many of the characters.

Definitely worth a watch though. The director went on to make Gangster No. 1 and Lucky Number Slevin which are decent films too.
