I was out camping this weekend, about 8 miles out, and I slipped on a rock and landed on the tip of my big toe. It was excruciating. It took me twice as long as it should have to wobble 3 miles back to camp. This was on Saturday. Hiked out the remaining 5 miles yesterday morning, then drove 2.5 miles home.
My toe is purple, swollen, and it still hurts more than I would like it to. And this is going to be hell week at work! I work at an apartment complex in a university town, and leases are up this week. We have 15 apartments to turn around today, 13 more on Wednesday. A total of 43 over the next 15 days. Crap.
On a positive note, the camping trip was AMAZING.
