Yeah. Immolation has been pretty consistent through out their entire career. Each album has been pretty great in it's own right. The last 3 have not been as good as the first 5, but are still enjoyable none the less.

Dawn of Possession is a great debut record. "Here in After", the follow up is also great.. get to that one ASAP as well. The one I mentioned "Close to a World Below" is still their masterpeice in many ways, and the follow up to that "Unholy Cult" is fantastic as well.

Also, "Cause of Death" is a fantastic album, as is "The End Complete". I would have added that, but you said you knew the more popular ones I believe (or something to that effect) so I just assumed Obituary is a band you knew already.

As I say, Florida has many of my favorite bands.

If I were to give a recommendation to anybody some introudction albums from that scene would probably go something like..

1. Deicide - Legion
2. Morbid Angel - Covenant
3. Obituary - Cause of Death
4. Death - Human
5. Brutality - Screams of Anguish
6. Monstrosity - Millennium
7. Massacre - From Beyond
8. Resurrection - Embalmed Existence
9. Diabolic - Supreme Evil
10. Disincarnate - Dreams of the Carrion Kind

and of course:

Cynic - Focus
Atheist - Unquestionable Presence
Nocturnus - The Key
D.V.C. - Molecular Shadow
