Dante's Inferno (2007)
Pretty low budget adaptation Sandow Birk and Marcus Sanders' re-telling of the famous poem, moving it to a contemporary urban setting (Los Angeles). It's also done completely with hand drawn puppets and for the most part it works pretty well. There's some pretty decent voice acting although the only voice I recognized was James Cromwell as Virgil. There were a couple of funny jabs at modern day politics, although they did get a little too liberal douchey at times, but seeing Fox News in the 8th Circle (fraud) was pretty funny. If you have streaming Netflix it's on that right now, so if you're interested in the subject matter, definitely give the movie a try.
