Out of interest dj, do black people have curls in their armpit hair? If the answer is yes, I could understand worrying about the irritation, curly hair will get ingrown if it isnt treated properly before, during, and after a shave because of the unpredictable direction it grows out in, and its the ingrowing of the hairs that lead to irritation. I have a few maverick hairs on my beard that dont lay the same as the rest, and that was the only spot I ever used to get a shaving rash. If your armpit hair grows straight and lays flat, then as long as you trim and wash it before you shave you wouldnt get any irritation
